Neil is the President of Platform Funding, LLC and Elevation Capital Group, LLC. He graduated with an M.B.A. from the University at Buffalo. With over 15 years of Executive and Operations Management experience, Neil oversees all facets of daily operations. He is responsible for the development, design, operation and improvement of the trusted systems that create and deliver their outstanding services. Neil’s goal for Platform Funding and Elevation Capital Group is to stand as the leaders in alternative financing, by helping business owners build their company with the personalized funding necessary to obtain their objectives. Neil, along with his wife keep very busy with their young son & daughter, enjoying lots of outdoor activities and traveling to new destinations as much as they can.
With over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, Brett Sanders has built a reputation in Private Wealth Management, Mortgage-Backed Securities, and Alternative Lending. Since joining Platform Funding 12 years ago, he has been instrumental in securing the best approvals for business owners seeking working capital by leveraging his strong relationships with funders. Brett earned his degree in Finance and Communications from Ohio State University, where he honed his sales and negotiation skills. His expertise in structuring deals helps business owners reinvest in their companies and communities, driving growth and success.
Phil is a graduate of Daemen College and has been a key part of Platform Funding since 2016. Before joining the company, he owned and operated a successful back-office support business. After growing his company and receiving an offer he couldn’t refuse, Phil made the strategic decision to join the very team that helped him scale his business. As Director of Funding, Phil’s mission is to provide business owners with the fastest and most competitive funding options in the industry. He has quickly gained extensive industry knowledge and is dedicated to developing funding solutions that make sense for everyday business owners across a wide range of industries. Outside the office, Phil is a strong supporter of local businesses and a passionate fan of the Buffalo Bills.
Ryan is the Human Resource and Recruiting Manager of Platform Funding, LLC. He earned both his B.S. in Management and Marketing and his M.B.A. in Human Resource Management from Canisius University. Before stepping into his current role, he gained valuable leadership experience as an Operations Manager at UPS and Plant Manager at Cintas. These roles reinforced his understanding of the critical balance between management and employees, shaping his approach to team building and workplace culture. Ryan joined the Platform Funding family in 2012 as the Human Resource and Recruiting Manager, playing a key role in attracting and retaining top talent across all three office locations. Outside of work, Ryan prioritizes family, his girlfriend, and his beloved dog, Mookie. He is passionate about giving back to the community, volunteering with Hospice and Buddy’s Second Chance, a local dog rescue organization. A dedicated sports fan, he never misses a chance to cheer on the Buffalo Bills or the Boston Red Sox. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and traveling.
Colin brings over a decade of experience in the alternative lending space. Starting as an agent with Platform Funding, he quickly took on the challenge of managing the company's renewal book, earning a promotion to California Floor & Renewal Manager, and now oversees operations across all three locations as Director of Operations. In his role, Colin ensures agents remain focused on delivering tailored working capital solutions to business owners. He also leads the Renewals Team, providing ongoing support to the company’s book of business, while championing Platform Funding’s mission to be a trusted resource for business owners seeking opportunities to grow their businesses. A graduate of California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), Colin initially pursued a teaching career to follow in his parents’ footsteps. Today, he channels that same passion for education into training new sales agents and guiding business owners through available funding programs. Outside the office, Colin stays active and enjoys quality time with friends and family. One of his favorite pastimes is competing in the Las Vegas BCA Pool League World Tournament, a tradition he has proudly maintained for the past seven years.
Joe is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Platform Funding, LLC. He graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and holds over 18 years of experience in the financial space. His career started off in Investment Banking, where his clients included some of the largest Institutional Investors on the West Coast. Joe has been with the Platform Funding family since the end of 2015. He currently oversees the company's strategic funding partnerships to make sure that they continue to be positioned as a leader in the alternative funding space. He also works with new and existing clients to help customize tailor-made financial solutions for their businesses. Outside of the office Joe spends most of his time living an active lifestyle which includes cooking, DJing, staying fit, and traveling. Fun Fact: He was born and raised in Taiwan and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.
